Still doing a little catch up blogging from Christmas time. Meet the Perrson Family. This was such a fun session and even though boys in general aren’t too excited about family photos these boys were great sports and we laughed a whole lot during the session. Getting older kids to have photos isn’t always easy but as mother you find one day you have a baby in your arms and then next they are off to high school. You want to capture every moment and hold onto it for a bit longer – well that is how I feel being the mother and knowing that being a parent of a high schooler is just around the corner for me and the days are flashing past at an alarming rate. Check out these cheeky little monkeys! It’s been awhile now since I photographed them. They belong to one of my oldest friends (we started school together – I was about to say the year – but I will keep that to myself.) Anyway, last time I photographed them Sunny was just a baby and Zac was little more than a toddler. Look at them now! I know I’m always going on about how much I love doing updated photos and watching families grow but it’s true! It’s really rewarding and time flies by so quickly – it’s a way to reign it in just a little, a way to feel like you have some control over the passing of time and a way of remembering things that will all too quickly pass.
