A few days back my site had crashed – thankfully it’s all backup and now I’m back online! There are still a few problems to tweak but I’m mostly back on track.
I’ve been dying to share Kristie and Michael’s wedding day. Kristie and Michael were married at Bunyip Scenic Rim Resort which seems to be a bit of a secret location. It’s tucked up high on the hills and has sweeping views of the mountains and valley surrounding it. It was an amazing backdrop for their amazing wedding. Isn’t Kristie’s dress gorgeous? They couldn’t have planned a better day for their wedding!

Thanks guys for choosing me to photograph your wedding and I loved sharing your day.
I was about to begin my post by saying ‘happy monday’ but realised we just had a public holiday and the day is in fact Tuesday! Monday is done and dusted. Hope you all had a great Labor day holiday.
There has been a little drama around here with my website being accidentally deleted – thank goodness for backup files and a great web host. I do have some plans for an update for the site but that is still a little ways off.
What I did want to chat about today was my Mother’s Day Mini Sessions offer. There is some information below about what a mini session is and what’s included. If you have any questions or would like to book don’t hesitate.
There is nothing quite so special to mum’s as photos of their loved ones and this is the perfect time of year for photos – not too hot not too cold and the offer is fantastic value to boot.
For terms and conditions and bookings please get in touch!
A few weeks back I got to hang out with the lovely Mel and her handsome boys. We headed down to the beach at Southport for the session. It was a gorgeous day, a little blustery but with beautiful blue skies. I know photoshoots aren’t something that most young boys really want to do – so we tried to make it a little more fun by hanging out in the sand hills and letting the boys go for it. There were also cart wheels in the water and lots of other rough and tumble just to make it that bit more fun…

Really really beautiful work, a stunning family, amazing light. I would be so thrilled if these were my beautiful boys!
What a stunning session. Kids change so quickly, these will be treasured for a long time to come. Thanks for sharing
Stunning! What a gorgeous family and absolutely beautiful images.
Oh Sheila these are gorgeous!! Love that light 😛
These are so bright and sunny and delightful. What a gorgeous family too, they are some of the most open, natural and beautiful portraits of boys I’ve seen for a while. Lovely work!
A few weeks back I caught up with Emily and Luke for their engagement shoot. At first their most adorable and gorgeous dachshund Carlos wasn’t going to be coming for the shoot. I was so sad! When I met Emily and Luke for the first time I was enamoured with Carlos. Because Carlos is a city dog he was pretty excited to be out in the country running through the grass and smelling the air. It was so hard to get a photo of him as he raced around without stopping. However, his antics had Emily and Luke in fits of laughter throughout the afternoon.
It was such a fun photoshoot. I can’t wait for the wedding – Emily and Luke are such a gorgeous couple and really in love so I know their wedding day is going to be a magical one.

STUNNING couple!!! And beautiful images as always Sheila.
PS… have I mentioned how in love with your spotty blog I am?
Just a few weeks back was the wedding of Rebecca and Bert. The day dawned with the bluest of skies and everything about their day was completely perfect. They had their ceremony at Barton’s Rose Farm which is just up the road from Bec’s parent farm, and the house she grew up in which made it all the more special. I loved Bec’s dress- the colour was absolutely divine and suited her so completely. I’ve been having uploading issues with the blog so I just have a handful of photos to share but I think you will be able to tell that the bridal party was a lot of fun. They spent a lot of time laughing. Which is fantastic – because bridal party photos should be fun.

Thanks Bec and Bert for sharing your day with me.
